Wholemeal bread 150 g

Brown sugar 6 tablespoons

Grated lemon peel 1 teaspoon

Lemon juice 2 teaspoons

Strawberry 450 g

Mascarpone cheese 4 tablespoons

Cooking instructions 30 minutes

1 Toast the bread in a toaster until crispy.

2 Meanwhile, heat a frying pan over a high heat. Add the sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice. Cook for about a minute until the syrup starts to boil. Then add the sliced strawberries and cook for another 1 minute, stirring.

3 Spoon a spoonful of cheese onto the toast and top with the warm berries in the syrup.
