Cheese and manna casserole

Cheese and manna casserole, Prescriptions, Any category, Pastries and desserts, Casserole

Ingredients portion 6

Cheese curd 500g

Sour cream 3 tablespoons

Chicken egg 4 pieces

Butter 50 g

Sugar 100 g

Manna grits 150 g

Vanilla sugar 2 teaspoons

Candied fruit 50 g

Breadcrumbs 2 tablespoons

Cooking instructions 1 hour

1 Mix the cottage cheese with the soured cream, stir in the semolina, vanilla and chopped candied fruit and leave in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to swell. (The cottage cheese may be low-fat or fat-free. It is best if it is soft but not watery).

2 Stir the yolks with the sugar, add the melted butter (leave a bit to grease the moulds), stir a little more and combine with the curd mixture.

3 Whisk the egg whites. Mix gently with the rest of the ingredients.

4 Grease the muffin tin and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place the batter in the mould and bake until golden, 40-50 minutes.

5 Remove the finished casserole carefully from the oven (to prevent it settling), cool in the dish and turn it over. The casserole will look just like a cake.
