Ingredients portion 10

Butter 70 g

Dry curd 200g

Chicken egg 1 piece

Brown sugar 3 tablespoons

Vanilla sugar 1 teaspoon

Honey 2 teaspoons

Lemon peel 1 piece

Baking powder 1 teaspoon

Wheat flour 200 g

Cooking instructions 45 minutes

1 Melt the butter, add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Grate the zest.

2 Add the curd and honey, stir in, then add the egg. Gradually add the flour, stirring, then the vanilla sugar and baking powder. Add the lemon zest and stir again.

3 Line a baking tray with parchment and oil. Use a teaspoon to place the pieces of dough on the baking tray (roll a ball between your hands and flatten it so that it looks uniform and pretty) 3 cm apart.

4 Bake in a preheated oven at 175-180 degrees until golden 15-20 minutes.

Recipe tip Flour is made from wholemeal wheat (rye). It is better to buy low-fat, dense cottage cheese. Soft curd won’t work.
