Chicken 500g
Carrots 2 pieces
Onions 1 head
Parsley 2 stalks
Celery 1 stalk
Butter 30 g
Manna grits 100 g
Chicken egg 2 pieces
Salt to taste
Greens 50 g
Cooking instructions 2 hours
1 Pour cold water over the chicken and bring to the boil. Remove the foam, add the carrots, celery, parsley and onion. Season with salt. Cook until tender.
2 Remove the chicken, separate the meat from the bones and cut into small pieces.
3 Strain the stock and put back on the fire. Add the chicken meat.
4 Knead the semolina dough with the butter, egg and salt. Divide the dough into dumplings and put them in the stock.
5 Sprinkle the broth over the chopped herbs.
