Chicken in cheese sauce, Prescriptions, Any category, Any kitchen, Main dishes, French cuisine

Ingredients portion 4

Chicken fillet 500 g

Oranges 2 pieces

Garlic 1 clove

Cream 250 g

White dry wine ½ cup

Vegetable oil 20 ml

Dijon mustard 2 teaspoons

Cream cheese 250g

Cooking instructions 1 hour

1 Wash the oranges and squeeze out the juice. Grate the zest of the same oranges on a fine grater and add to the juice. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil, salt, mustard and wine. Stir everything well. A marinade is created.

2 Slice the chicken thinly and put it in the marinade. Leave for about half an hour. Fry the marinated chicken in hot oil until almost cooked.

3 While the chicken is cooking, pour the cream and melted cheese into a pan over a very low heat. Stir until smooth, then pour into the chicken and immediately squeeze in the garlic clove. Braise for a few more minutes, stirring. Rice can be served as a side dish.
