Ingredients portion 4

Butter 175 g

Wheat flour 250 g

Salt ½ teaspoon

Soda ½ teaspoon

Brown sugar 200 g

White fine sugar 100 g

Vanilla extract 2 teaspoons

Egg yolk 1 piece

Chicken egg 1 piece

Chocolate chips (mini) 300 pieces

Cooking instructions 45 minutes

1 Prepare and balance all the necessary ingredients. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Grease the tray with butter and lined with parchment.

2 Melt the butter. Sieve the flour, baking soda and salt into a separate bowl.

3 Beat the melted butter and sugar well. Add the vanilla, egg and egg yolk. Whisk again.

4 Fold in the flour and beat with the mixer bowl on the lowest speed. Add the chocolate drops and mix with a spoon until evenly distributed in the batter.

5 Using two tablespoons soaked in water, shape the dough into balls and place them on the baking tray. The size of the biscuits depends on your wishes. I put them out about one tablespoon at a time, so that the biscuits end up being about 9-10cm in diameter. There is no need to flatten the dough, this will happen naturally when baking, so be sure to spread the dough out at a decent distance. Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden. Remove the finished biscuits from the oven and leave to rise on the tray for a few minutes.

Recipe tip Ingredients – for 28 pieces.
