Hot dogs with onions at home

Ingredients portion 4

Mayonnaise 100 g

Sausages 4 pieces

Ketchup to taste

Hot dog bun 4 pieces

Onions 1 head

Cooking instructions 45 minutes

1 Cut the hot dog bun as deep as possible but so that it does not come apart.

2 Smear a spoonful of mayonnaise on the inside of the bun.

3 Peel and chop the onions in half rings. Scald the onions with boiling water so that they are not too bitter. Divide the onions into 4 equal parts and place one part in the bun.

4 Boil the sausages, place one sausage on top of the onions.

5 Spoon the ketchup over the hot dog, cover with a plastic lid and heat in the microwave on maximum power for one minute.

6 Prepare the remaining ingredients in the same way.
