Onions 600 g

Puff pastry 350 g

Salt to taste

Vegetable oil 4 tablespoons

Ground black pepper to taste

Walnuts 50 g

Balsamic vinegar ½ tablespoon

Hard cheese 150g

Cooking instructions 30 minutes

1 Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

2 Roll out the puff pastry and place on the greased baking tray.

3 Peel and slice the onion into thin rings. Saute the onions in the vegetable oil for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.

4 Place the onion filling on the pastry, sprinkle with the grated cheese and chopped walnuts. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
