Ingredients portion 6

Cottage cheese 400 g

Margarine 200 g

Wheat flour 480 g

Sugar to taste

Salt to taste

Soda ½ teaspoon

Cooking instructions 40 minutes

1 The margarine is chopped and then grated on a fairly coarse grater, mixed with the grated curd and salted.

2 After this, mix the mass with the flour and baking soda and then knead the dough. The dough is rolled out and cut into circles.

3 Each of the pastry circles is dipped in sugar with one side, then folded in half so that the sugar is inside. This half circle is dipped in sugar again with one side and folded as before.

4 Cut the edges in serrations to resemble feathers.

5 The resulting biscuits are dipped again in sugar and then placed on a lis, sugar side up, and baked until tender.
