Sugar 1 cup

Carrots 250 g

Wheat flour 1 cup

Chicken egg 1 piece

Detergent soda 1 teaspoon

Vegetable oil 1 tablespoon

Cooking instructions 25 minutes

1 Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

2 Mix all the ingredients and pour into the mould.

3 Bake in the preheated oven until tender, checking with a toothpick.

4 Chocolate icing, bananas and nuts can be used for decoration.

Recipe tip A delicate apricot-coloured biscuit turns out – very tasty.
